Laguna Youth Baseball's 2022 Spring Season is open for registration!

We are excited about the upcoming season and look forward to offering a terrific youth baseball experience. Players will have an opportunity to play games at Morse Park baseball facility which has four baseball fields and a snack bar. Other baseball fields and parks in the Laguna area are also utilized for games in our various playing divisions.

The following is a tentative schedule of important dates for the 2022 Spring season (please note, these dates are subject to change because you just never know what kind of “curve ball” the world is going to throw next):

-        January 8, 2022:  Assessments Day 1

-       January 22, 2022:  Back-Up Assesment Day (in case of bad weather on January 8, 2022)

-       January 31, 2022:  Practices may begin

-       March 12, 2022:  Opening Day

-       May 27, 2022:  End of season

We will again be offering the opportunity for players ages 4-12 to play in one (1) of six (6) divisions:

**Rookie Division –Instructional Division consisting primarily of 4 to 6 year old first time players

**A Division- Instructional Division consisting primarily of 6 to 7 year old players with limited experience

**AA Division- Competitive Division consisting primarily of 8 to 9 year old players

**AAA Division- Competitive Division consisting primarily of 9 to 10 year old players

**Minor Division- Competitive Division consisting primarily of 10 to 12 year old players

**Major Division- Competitive Division consisting Primarily of 11 to 12 year old players

Playing age is determined by the player’s age on April 30, 2022.  For example, if your player was born on May 8, 2011, they are a “baseball age 10” and would register for the Minor Division.  Please note:  Any special requests regarding your player’s placement in a division have to be made in writing in advance to playeragent@lagunayouthbaseball.org. and you will be notified if that request has been approved or denied.

The fees for the 2022 Spring season are as follows:

Rookie and A Division:

$145.00 per player

AA, AAA, Minor & Major Divisions:

$165.00 per player

If you are registering more than one (1) player, there is a multi-player discount available ($20.00 off the second registration and $15.00 off any additional registrations).

Registration fees include a jersey, socks and hat.

Full refunds will be issued for all divisions if a draft does not occur.  No refunds will be administered after league-wide Opening Day.

To sign-up to play, coach or to learn more details about the Laguna Youth Baseball experience, please visit www.lagunayouthbaseball.org.  Please note, when registering you will want to have a recent (within two [2] months) utility bill handy showing your player’s proof of residency, as this will need to be uploaded when you register your player.  If this is your first time registering your player, you will also need to have a copy of their birth certificate to upload for our records.

Have you thought about the impact you could have on kids and families by being a coach within Laguna Youth Baseball?  Well now is the time because we are also looking for coaches!  The commitment is worth every ounce of energy and time.  To register as a coach, you will use the same process as if you are registering your player.  Go to www.lagunayouthbaseball.org and click on the registration banner at the top of the page.

Should you have any questions, please contact Laguna Youth Baseball’s Player Agent at playeragent@lagunayouthbaseball.org with any registration questions.

We are truly looking forward to the upcoming season!
